That's not a proper Cossie though, says 24v which would be the V6 Scorpio Cosworth engine not the good old YB

Exactly, arent the 24v`s a xr4x4 engine?and not meant to be great? i showed my mate up a few times in his xr4x4 when we had a play but off the line may be different...... looks to me like the 24v done very well.

XR4x4 and Scorpio Cosworth engines are very different beasts. JimG had a 24v converted Sierrra and it went very well

Its up near stratford on avon about an hours journey from bristol. i doubt we will be going up there anytime soon but when ive finished my car i will give the mrs her car back and start racing people again lol.

as for the power no idea its a pretty standardish 1.8zvh quick enough when it needs too be.

No as said, totally different, the XR4x4 has an old 12V "Cologne" engine and 150HP, the 24V as fitted to the Scorpio Cosworth's have 200HP and are torquey engines.
