I stripped the car down removing everything worth keeping and boxed it up thinking that was the end of my dream but along came a mint 3 door shell without sunroof so the ID was transferred and i set building the dream once again

followed by.....


The shell was near mint but i decided to replace both sills with (full sills) correctly removed and re welded and replace the wings as they were damaged, other than that the shell was solid original chassis rails, mint inner wings rear valance, A pillars etc.


and then ............

Front floors had an advisory on MOT just starting to crust, Fibre glassed one side to stop it going any further but if im keeping the car i would replace the floor panels just to make it right rarther than patch it.


but the shell was mint i feel my idea of mint is different to 90% of people lol

why would he say he did it?
ok reshelling is pretty common but its teh transfering of id tahst naughty, if he can prove or it can be proved the shell is legit but id changed worst he can expect is to be forced into a q plate
im unsure if its criminal to change the id on your own car by misleading or what not if the shell isnt nicked but obv if the shell was nicked it would be more serious
