Default Help please

Spent a day trying to start my mates cossie to no avail, wondered if anyone had any ideas.

Car was fitted with light blues but changed to greys recently, was all running fine, then while just sitting on tickover it died and won't restart.

today we have checked fuel pressure (55psi on closed system)
theres spark,
theres fuel in the bores
the injectors are pulsing
there are no air leaks (that we can see or hear)
timing is spot on
all leads and wires are on
theres sufficient compression in each cylinder

can't understand how there is fuel/spark/correct timing, but no bang.

car previously had knocky lifters and the last time it started it sounded sweet with no tappety noise at all.

possible thoughts from others are that the lifters are jacked and the fuel is just bypassing everything, but i would have thought it would at least try to start rather than turn over and over it has big valve head and bd14's so not sure if this could be the reason.

peoples ideas and thoughts would be appreciated.

ps. already thought of the Crank position sensor, but as stated got spark and injector pulse.

thought possibly something has gone down in the ECU but if you've got fuel/spark/air then you should get a fire!!!!

were the plugs very wet? could try changing them if you have a spare set

Plugs could be getting saturated, I.e wrong plugs for grey and boost setting, or heavy fueling on idle

yeah all ok spark, fuel, it just died and wouldnt start again. it didnt even try to start just kept turning and turning. i only disconnected the tps to blow out any water or moisture that may of caused problems and thought i wonder if it will start without it being connected and it did....just like that . worth a try mate.
