Hi guys,
I want to lower my fiesta (not ridiculously low though) just so it looks about right with the arches just above the wheels. They are 13" steelies on there atm which are staying on there but at some point they are getting banded![Wink](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_wink.gif)
anyway opinions?

30mm no lower ime, or you'll have a car that drives baddly and shags front arms every 6 months. If you're looking Zetec you'll want bigger wheels to accomodate the brakes you'll need to slow the car properly. Don't confuse handling with cornering grip.
I lowered my old XR2i 55mm and thought it was great, until I changed for a 35mm kit and the difference was like night and day and would not recomend going lower

If you want sleeper look just grab some 15" Mondeo steelies. Stealth look, wider lower profile tyres and space to squeeze the aforementioned brakes.

30mm would make a great improvement I reckon.

Ive got exactly the same car as this guy, im looking too lower my fiesta, add alloys and an ashley back box.
When lowering can i get away with just changing the springs? or do i need to do the dampers aswell? also what kits do i go for?
Ive been looking at spax and they all seem to be 35mm drops where i remember someone saying 30mm was the most we could drop them before damaging the wishbones?
