Hi I have a focus st 2 08
and traction control light is permanently on can anyone help

 

Does the ABS still work ?

Could be a simple as a wheel sensor has failed but easiest thing it to get it plugged in and have the codes read then you will know exactly what's wrong.

The ABS unit might be lacking. Check under the airfilter box for red wire. It may be partially chewed off by the edge of the airfilter box itself.

 

If abs was faulty it would go into limp mode.

 

i reckon abs/esp module is faulty.best to get the codes read first then start from there.more than likely come up with brake pressure sensor fault which is incorporated into the unit unlike fiesta st which is a seperate sensor on the master cylinder

 

almost certianly abs pump, cost is about £300 + vat at dealer
