Default Picking Up My PUMA Gear Selector And Rods Today

Well after ordering them in brand new from ford at the price of £160.00 the lot for anyone who want it new......getting me other half to pick em up while im at work, soon as shes got em ill be booking it in to do the conversion on my MK4 to compliment the CTS Stage 2 Plus Gearbox.

Since ive been driving the CTS LSD box it has massively improved traction and feel, even the steering if that makes sense. I haven't driven an LSD Box before due to eating 3i boxes and to have the CTS is just incomparable to a standard box, ive had to get used to the torque steer as the LSD tries to even out the power on each wheel, its bloody great fun though i love the torque steer and makes me smile and let off a WOOOHOOOOO as it accelerates with a deep roar while i fight the left and right variant pull, i havent launched it hard yet but to tell the truth in the experiences i have had it FUCKING SHIFT FAST ENOUGH to launch slowly, its not a time attack its on the road and 9 times out of 10 i catch the car and overtake anyway without the hard launch, overall im very pleased with the BOX as on top im dealing with ratios built to my Dyno Power read out, wheel size and tyre width so its on the button, it took a little getting used to and as above the only thing left to do with the transmission is to upgrade to the PUMA gear conversion and get those really nice notchy spring loaded shifts people say they have when doing this conversion.

Not putting my car on the track at all, although would be nice to test top speed and 0-60 & 0-100 in it, but i think to myself i can get a rough estimate on this with selected road, a friend and a stop watch with a few goes and get the average, reason why im not putting my car on sprints/drags or track is simply because its my everyday car and if something goes wrong i wont be happy, plus insurance shit i dont want to deal with, its possible ill be at ford fair though, never been before so im guessing ill wack it in the crowd somewhere if there is one.

What i will say about the end question is "NO TRACK for my car lol"

The car is by no means slow as you can emagine, when i get the selector in ill have to get used to that aswell as the BOX seeing as at the moment im having to break through a brick wall to get into selecting 1st and 2nd, would be nice to go ford fair and see all the other RS's and track cars and cossies though, i love all that.

Got the car booked in for Monday next week to have the conversion done !!

EDIT: i have got lots of pictures of the car but i cant upload while on the work system as they are blocked from access on this network, i have to get home and remember about pictures if i do post any.
