Default Problem running power cable

Just taken my system out of my old escort to run the power cable from the battery to the amps. Right, in my last escort i had to drill a whole to feed the cable through, it ran just behind the glove compartment and down the left side of the car.

My problem now is just bought another one and i dont really wanna be drilling a through hole. I've looked at the side of the battery, the left wing seems to have a big area open and to feed it down and through that area would be perfect but i'm not sure where it comes out.

I just need to run the cable without drilling any holes (if possible)

Pointers if possible or advice please

That is the wiring for the ecu and stuff, it runs just above the carpet. You have to take wheel off and sh*t shield and you will find the grommet with the wires running through it, run it through that but remember to seal around the hole you make.

escort mk6 models have a huge 3 inch grommet on either side side of vehicle, you simply pop off the wheel arch liner and you wont miss it, no holes need drilling at all ideal for all cables and comes through into cabin area. just as said above

it can be done with the wheel on but you need to pull back the arch liner at the rear towards the wheel, its far easier to simply take a wheel off as access is way better
