How do I wire up a buzzer so that if I turn my engine off with my lights on it will go off??

I keep forgettin to turn em off and then batt goes low and alarm goes off

which one is easier to wire up??

 

To do it with engine off, take live supply from a dash light feed (grey and yellow on most fords) take the earth from the ignition live feed (this goes to earth when the ignition is off)

for the doors, take the live from the dash lights again and take the earth from the interior light pin switch in the door.

u can start to get clever and add relays so that it only goes off when u open the door and the ignition is off etc... or to stop it going off when others open their doors but depends how far u wanna go!

 

Thats the way I was thinking I always go too deep and miss the obvious simple solution lol.

I just gonna keep it simple and go with the dash light live and the ignition live feed.

Just do ya self a favor and get a decent buzzer out of a granada or sommit (thinking about it I've got a spare one somewhere!)

The little "school" project 12v buzzers are really annoying!!!
