struggling with reality
iTrader: (1)
As I have a 20 year old Fiesta I am going to get the "what da Fo.." as I give it the beans, there are only 153 early ones and 15 later ones taxed (RS Turbo) in the UK! Also I am in the process of fixing some of the electrics and my daughter as knocked my bike over on the bumper (so scratched) she is not looking her best at the moment! so they don't expect the shopping trolley / go-cart to accelerate and corner quite as well as it does! (and I haven't fitted the N2O yet!) - these cars were designed for barreling down b roads at speed, in an era when no catalytic converters were required, and safely equipment was at a minimum so they weigh a lot less than the "fatter" versions around today!
Anyway all that matter is that I enjoy taking her out for a drive !!!! Even better by daughter now has the fun car bug too!

Rod take your car to santapod and put it up against a 1000hp yank, then we'll see who looks like a smacked arse
Your car is impressive no doubt, but shut up about it

I bet the yb chevette would make your sierra look stupied on twisty roads where you can't use that power, which is 99.9% of the time. Your car is impressive for that one time drag on a very long runway, but pretty much any standard performance car would leave you behind on a twisty b road while your trying your hardest to keep it in a straight line.

PassionFord Post Whore!!
I used to have a mk1 fiesta 1.1 pop plus, with all steel 1.7 xflow, looked standard apart from exhaust and xr4x4 wheels. it was the best fun i think ive ever had driving, the smell, the noise, the instant power and you could totally waste people in "quick" cars and people wouldnt have a clue what just happened. In the end i bought something a bit quicker and smarter looking as got fed up with the stares everytime i drove anywhere, constant questions in pubs etc "you're the guy with that mk1 that spins up in third blah blah blah..." and eventually sold it.
& had something a bit smart ever since really. Sleepers are good and everyone should have one but you cant have a sleeper as an everyday car can you!
