PSA 2.2HDI made by ford?
just reading up on

and it says this engine only the 2.2 is made by ford ? and used in Jaguar Land Rover, and BMW and the new mini one D... i thought it was made in France

have you read the article carefully? there is a joint venture between psa and ford, and the engine listed all have variations with ford and psa in the development when fitted to fords.
that is across the range right up to the 2.7litre.
quite curious that a partnership was done, but in the economic climate you can't go throwing money into base development, better to share the tech.

have you read the article carefully? there is a joint venture between psa and ford, and the engine listed all have variations with ford and psa in the development when fitted to fords.
that is across the range right up to the 2.7litre.

The 16-valve,2.2 L PSA DW12 is also produced by the Ford/PSA joint venture. Variants of this engine for longitude mounting, were designed by Ford at their Dunton and Whitley research centres. That particular engine is solely build in Dagenham, England and is used by Jaguar Land Rover in a selection of their vehicles.
