OP I would go for a 6speed box if going h patter as its very easy to miss gears with the 7speed and they are not cheap
Also be careful on ratios as they were designed for 4.44 diffs.

You need a wrc active mpc pump and whole kit including accumulator and all the other gubbins. The power steering works off the mpc pump.

I have a 6 speed FFD with handbreak release. I was told the pump are in the gearbox? And I need a oil tank.
Is that correct?

Jim,
There were a number of combinations with the active hanbrake release, people like Chris Mellors, pete doughty and RED ran the cars with semi active systems, these used a main valve block, accumulator and only one rexroth for the centre diff, the front diff remained passive, they ran those cars with either the 90BAR pump or sometimes an electric power steering pump, they did work ok and gave the advantage of unlocking the centre diff without all the other equipment...
FFD is a fabulous box, loads of cheapish spares still available without paying Xtrac tax....
