haha like the little caption by the side of my name in the list, just a note they used catch fire due to the silly little perc fan renault fitted, hence mine and prob 90% of owners have them removed.

should be able update the power within the next few months certainly got more than that now, not bad for a little pushrod 1.4 8v engine

why would i do that, jurgen put his r35 gtr on a dynapack and made 100hp less than it made calculated flywheel from surrey rr dyno dynamics.

jamie has trapped over 150 mph time is irrelevant, he weighs in at iirc over 1600 kg so call it 1600 kg, so 152 mph 1600 kg = 950 whp that is over 1000 hp end off going by pod time slip and from what i read it wasnt a perfect launch either.

your mk 2 escort what was that 1200 kg ? trapped 143 mph = 600 whp.

the only time hub dynos are over inflated is when people add a 1.18 correction factor but thats the operator not the dyno. ive had ryan g in my car checking the map on the road and hes been in plenty of supras and his words were "its a good 800 hp" and it had just made 757 hubs a few weeks previous on rototest.

Very impressive figures! How about Charlie shaw too he's around 800hp I think.
Amazing to think that rods engine is a 2.2 and puts out 860hp! Hope he carries on with development to push it even further.

ive just remembered another example mgts drag car.

1200 kg 151 mph = 700 whp, and it made iirc high 600s hub power on there dynapack.

ive just read here your car dyno thread

https://passionford.com/forum/genera...out-today.html

it reads as though you made 809 flywheel and on 109 race gas not on pump fuel ?

my escort was 490 atw and 975kg and ive had various big powered jap cars that have been on a hub dyno and one you have recently used, but when compared on a rolling road the hub figure was about the same as fly wheel figure,i allways tend to use the wheel figure when changing or upgrading parts to see if it inproves,This is just the figures ive had before hence why i dont believe them, same as in the usa ,End of the day its just a reference and use the same dyno if you want to make comparisons from tuning,my OPINION from past vehicles

i agree different dyno results cant be accurately compared, thats why im getting a run done before mapping so i can see the gains and losses and where they are.

i dont know how your weight and speed tally up to my graph as it only goes down to 1100 kg im gonna try and scale it down though its been accurate enough so far with all the pod and weight results ive used before, is 975 kg with or without you ?

Either way the yb's are putting up a good fight against the jap even being 25year old and only a 2.0 pinto with a 16v head!
Hasn't Terry Davis run a 9.8 @ 148 in his mk2 with 500hp?

Fiesta RS Turbo

204bhp @ 5610rpm / 208 lb.ft @ 3456rpm.

...Best thing is, it returns awesome MPG considering! I love my Fiesta, with its better power to weight ratio than much more expensive toys!
