Default Carb Change Help!!

I have just bought a 32 34 dft to change my original tldm on my escort.

I know this has been done so many times but does anyone have any info on this conversion? i.e if i will need anything else? or what i remove off the original setup

would really like this done before ford fair so any help would be much appreciated!

It is better to have the original carb, instead of changing the new one. If you want to change it go with right fitting carbs for right escort. So you need to be aware of it.

The 32 34 DFT was the square top carb whilst the tldm is the round top? I've been told previously that the DFT was infact a better carb compared to the TLDM.

Was the DFT fitted with auto choke or manual choke?
