Default Silly Seat Spring.

A tension spring came loose on the drivers seat and was rolling around underneath it. I have no clue where this spring is attached to. I read through the Haynes manual and is not very clear where the bloody thing goes.

According to the manual its used for the seat hight adjustment.

Can someone help me please.

If it is the one about 4-5" long and 1" diameter, it hooks onto the cross-tube on the underside of the seat and onto the crossmember on the floor.

If it is a wee small one, it holds the base of the seat to the frame.
