Hi I have a Astra r reg 1.7 low blow engine, an the ecu mounted on the diesel pump has two broken contacts inside Wich I asume is the cause for it not to run, but unfortunately it's almost inpossable to solder as its so small and I've tryed with flux but will just not take! An was wondering is there another type of pump to fit as its hard to get this type :/ many thanks

corr the old x17dt i believe need the same pump matey should not be hard to get but remember it needs to be programmed so the other one has to be reset before u fit it

Well if I cud source one cheap hopefully my mates launch x431 can code it for me,

Yea I was hoping that will see a matey tomoz about soldering it for me. Also wanna know why it happens iv seen it happens to the same fine wire

No joy today the thin wires are ally and can not be solded to the chip it's how the chip comes after some digging iv found that you replace the chip for a transistor called irlr2905pbf and a sticking fuel solinoid causes the burnout. Fort I'd let you know of my findings as my be useful to others and if anyone's done one to give me some pointers for when I do mine will be really helpful
