i take it you mean tdci?

could be any number of things including injectors. sounds like the garage has been fobbing your boss off and just doing an ecu reset.
Take it to a delphi diesel specialist, they're the only places to go with them...not even FORD.

Yeah if the flywheel is on its way I believe it can affect the signal to the crank sensor? Another problem they suffer with is inlet manifolds getting full off shit

Those symptoms do not sound like the DMF. What are the fault codes (P0251 and P1211 probably)? You need to get it to a Delphi specialist, otherwise you're just replacing parts at random, and it will quickly get very expensive.

Not cheap. To do it properly you're looking at 150-200 per injector.

all modern common rail diesels suffer with fuel pump, injector, dpf, egr and dmf problems. its not a ford only problem!

Yes it seem's mondeos are the worst of the bunch , well the most talked about , i've had a set of injectors and a turbo in mine in 102k miles so not too bad , turbo's on them last about 150k apparently .
Injectors cost about 700 from a delphi agent who you really must go to to get them fitted and recoded
Hope you get it sorted .
