Not read it all Steve but personally if funds,time and space allow it I think you should keep the 4i and stick a 24v in it. Buy a nice Moonstone 3dr and get it a nice genuine 350-360 bhp and you should be able to have fun with both of them and both be reasonably reliable.

Don't get me wrong I love 3dr,s there very nice cars but I'd be bored as fuck going from the same car bar the kit and rear quater windows with 450 odd brake to a plain 3dr I just couldent do it!

You can't beat.. When the suns out going for a nice steady drive in a mint 3dr.. Pull into a nice pub for lunch in the sun... Living the dream....

I know what your saying and I have massive respect for them but I couldent go from 450ish bhp to 200 in a car that's almost the same

I could for a lil while............then get it all sorted over a period of time that suits you. They are a bit more than just laying the rubber down imo history nostalgia and the looks it provides is pretty much out there on its own.
