I'd agree with that if he dosent have the love for a powerfull yb anymore! I'd much rather have an evo 8 over a standard 3dr after haveing a 400 odd brake 4i as the 3dr would just feel slow! But the 3dr is a better looking car and will hold money better lol
And why can't you? What reasons are there for you to NOT have both?
If he is honest he has much more important money priorities in life than feeding the lust of others to spend his money. I dont know his financial position but a Cossied 4i suggests he aint challenging some others on here in the wealth stakes.

If it was me, and I wanted both, I'd take the cossie lump out the 4i, and stick a 24v V6 in it. I'd then find myself a 3 door with a dead/missing engine and put my expensive YB in that. I'd use the 4i more as a daily, and the 3 door as a weekend/show toy.
However, It's not me. And I'm perfectly happy having my Evo which does everything.
but owning one to high tuned statesay 500bhp+ is not as economical to own as lets say a 360 or a good 996 turbo
Which is why he puts the 500bhp YBomb into the 3 door and only uses it when he feels the need. He's got a 24v BOB in his 4i that can haul him down to littlewoods to pay his catalouge bill!
