ok 5th injectors are a extra for top end lean running, the no igniton advance is not a extra, its a missing part of the car !!!!

bit like saying you can use a small intercooler as they do work in certain aplications

its up to you, i know my sugestion to ya, your money though

simon my car was peaking and holding at over 2bar boost, never melted either, still turned the boost down though

its no a case of if it goes wrong just a case of when

im sure the xr3i's are vacum advance , erst's have a ecu to control that and a fuel ecu

rschav youre missing the point... its not a case of "it's good for 180bhp" its a case of the car driving wrong...

in order to set it up so that it does not blow up on full throttle / full boost you will have to SERIOUSLY compromise the rest of the driving conditions (toa degree where i'd be surprised if it idled let alone drove ) do you want a car you can ONLY drive on full throttle/boost?

altho TBH i doubt its set up that way, it'll probably go bang the 1st time its held flat out

rschav, your intentions are good, but could well be regretted fairly soon after your purchase.
But the loom you spoke about combined with the car at a good price and i dont think you can go far wrong.

I still like you other idea though si, 1.1 all the way, get some escort steels or something aswell so it looks standard but has a bit of grip there.

Jim no m8 it dont go bang flat out i.ve been in it with the speedo indicating over 135mph and it has been taken further

adding the Loom is all thats needed to make a nice car better as henchos said the car at a good price which imho is a cheap car considering what has been spent on it

Davie0146 i dont know how its done but thats exactly what my other m8 has done when he converted his 3I he did not want to waste his money buying and installing the loom incase it did not work so when he had the engine installed the 3 wire tricked it to make sure it runs ok he has no problems and is running approx 160bhp I will try find out from the garage that installed the engine in the 3I to tell me how its done

Jim m8 sorry your wrong there the car can drive off boost as good as on boost and you dont need full throttle to have fun as it drives like any other turboed car.
