Oddly I was reading an old Retro mag last night with the Maltese drag car in it. They were claiming around 8-900bhp for those cars.

Now obviously they are very light, but based on trap speeds I'd say that HP estimate is rather conservative. You simply do not trap 170+ with 900bhp unless it's a motorbike weight territory
