Default Helix fast road clutches, any good?

Hi guys, clutch died today.....bloody fix one thing another breaks!....bloody RS turbos lol!
Been slipping since i upped the power so was taking the piss abit driving it around like a knob like that,
Been looking at a fast road helix clutch over a 4 paddle, mainly as the fast road clutch is a fair bit cheaper and i beleive it can handle the power im running (186bhp and 200lbft) aswell as the car is used daily so i sit in traffic alot so a 4 paddle would be a pain.

Anyone have any experiences of the Helix fast road clutches?

Many thanks Adam.

Used one for years, Fucking brilliant 250lb/ft and 260bhp and it's never skipped a beat.

The pedal feel took a lot of getting used to though.

Organic, personally I don't like paddles in a car that spends time in traffic. My brothers AP paddle was tucked after 2 years of commuting.

i used a helix 6-paddle clutch on my 3dr at 397bhp/386lbft but i did have a reyland hydraulic clutch conversion.

tbh that thing was easier to drive than my std puma

id go for an organic over a paddle iff poss, but if you do get a paddle, get one with more paddles as it will be less snatchy

ie a 6 paddle will be nice and smooth takeup, a 3 paddle is like on or off

I went to helix directly on the phone and they said they dont deal with private sales any more, i was put on to someone else and i got the same stuff that way, i went organic in the end, keeps your drivability in traffic alot more tolerable and easier to use plus can easily hold the power you have.
