I didn't offer a preference, just wanted to counter your point fwd is skill less, it's hard IMO to extract 100% from a fwd using the available techniques, there's a lot of skill to it.

Thats because a supercharger can sound cool. And a decent rumbling v8 always sounds awesome.

Never mind how good the chassis is, with FWD you will lost many sec. on drag races.

Look the Focus RS500 with 350 Hp. I'm sure, with RWD the car should need about 4.4 sec. and not 5,6.

A car have to be "pushed" (RWD) not "pulled" (FWD). FWD is like I would walk on my hands?

Cosworth was the real thing ........ most sport cars from today are more and more for hairdressers.

While I agree with most of what you are saying, the problem with the cosworths was that the rear beam is so badly designed that it didnt allow the engine to push as well from behind as it should have done.

Given the same level of suspesnion technology that the focus RS has, but put to the rear wheels instead, it would undoubtably be quicker on the quarter mile.
