FWD 'vs' RWD
Yep pretty handy at left foot braking, agree it allows a lot more control once you get good at it. The problem is you still don't have the power at the right end coming out of the corner. We can argue to the nth degree about slip angles blah blah blah, my preference is RWD simply due to it being more fun & rewarding.
Never mind how good the chassis is, with FWD you will lost many sec. on drag races.
Look the Focus RS500 with 350 Hp. I'm sure, with RWD the car should need about 4.4 sec. and not 5,6.
A car have to be "pushed" (RWD) not "pulled" (FWD). FWD is like I would walk on my hands?
Cosworth was the real thing ........ most sport cars from today are more and more for hairdressers.

Given the same level of suspesnion technology that the focus RS has, but put to the rear wheels instead, it would undoubtably be quicker on the quarter mile.
