Default Ebay question......

I normally do my listings on a Sunday evening and choose a 7-Day auction, so that they also end on a Sunday evening.

When do you think is the ideal time for a listing to end??

Defo in the evening , I got some stuff finishing in a couple of hours

I could have had a bidding war going if I had waited though

I used to schedule mine to end at 8.30pm in the week but thought this might be too early so have changed to 9.30pm now.

I do a 10 day listing usually starting on a saturday afternoon, that way you get 2 weekends in there.

I think duration depends on how unique the item is.

If your selling something really common where there's loads on ebay then there's no point waiting 10 days just for it to go for the same price as all the others (pc parts for example).

Anything a bit more specialist or rare then defo longer time so that it gets maximum exposure.
