Seen a Cossie I'm thinking of going to see, but its in Belfast.

The previous owner had a private reg on it but took it when he sold it. So the cars been reregistered, but not back to its original plate.

Is that the way it works over there?

I was always under the impression it would revert back to the original plate?

Also, does anyone know what i need to do to register it for England?

only reverts back to original plate if someone like dvla havent sold it as far as i know.

My car was originally P6 COS, then COS5Y, now back on P***EOT as P6 COS had been sold!!

What is the car? are registration should be like 3 letters and 4 numbers. My rs turbo was imported from england, used to be on an e reg there. I think you just send you documents to swansea and they convert your log book.
