Default long studding a block

hi guys, ive looked asolutely everywhere and i cant find any info or step by step guides on long studding what sort of machining needs to be done. im one of these that likes to learn about something before i get it done. i dont want to just long stud it and leave it at that. can anyone help me out here are there any links with pics anywhere.

It's not the kind of thing you can do in the average garage, what do you want pics of?
You wouldn't get one of where the studs sit as its about 6 inches down the head bolt hole.
In my resto thread on my silver escos there is some pics of the studs fitted and unfitted and it pic with the core plug removed and you can see the long stud passing through the water gallery

If that's the case then you would buy the stud kit and work it out

My block was done at scs, their should be pictures in my build thread - the block has a step in the face for the stud shoulder
