Hi all

I drive a MK1 (2001) Ford focus 1.4. pretty soon an MOT is due and I have just discovered my reverse light does not work.
(its not the bulb, I already checked that)

Does anyone know what the problem might be and how to fix it.

(please give clear and good instructions)

reverse light isnt tested on an mot fella so no worries about it failing.regards to not working could be the bulb not working.worth a try first.more than likely reverse light switch

 

Is it not a case of where fitted it should be working though?

as to the problem most likely the switch or connection problem, seen as you have eliminated the bulb.
