The escort is still in bits..all the carbon panels are done and only the roof and rear quarters are steel..

The chassis is with mk motorsport as its all been converted to wrc front and rear ends and the gearbox tunnel has been made bigger for some mental sequential box.

The engine is now an mk motorsport tall block with custom arrows crank and rods and some indy car cosworth pistons as well as an engine girdle and dry sump kit all done by mk again..

Its going to be runing a one of mk inlet plenum with itbs and a gtx35r turbo and a big valve big port head..hoping for 750 hp on pump fuel he said..

Its all looking awesome and he has spent a fortune on some mad bits!!

Mk motorsport has done loads of trick bits including a new bar and plate intercooler rad in the boot and hidden tanks under the the wings..

Danny said he wants to be in it by the end of the year,i for one cant wait!!

Surely trick bits like tanks hidden under wings will just be a pain on a track car? I'd imagine you'd want to check it all regularly?

Don't get me wrong it is a weapon he just over rates the power but it has some top spec kit on it that's for sure he is getting into raceing it I think

Apart from a header tank what else would need checking??the rad is in the boot so water levels can be checked easily..

Not sure what other tanks there is??

yep that's the car reg HI MUT it caught fire ages ago but did also drop a rod not so long ago its all back up running now

He once told us he had no 1 rs 500 locked away and that if i ever needed a t5 box he had about 20 laying about!!!lol

I think that mistake has well and truely been thought out after about Ł10k worth of new parts!!lol..

Its weird though that alot of people found it funny when something like a wheel nut let the car down or the gearbox broke when nothing ever serious like an engine went down!!

That car got ragged hard all the time and other than shitty things breaking never let danny down..
