Then it's fair to say with comments like your first one, you are not representative of "the scene" at all.

Most of us are a little too grown up to have "crews" - I call them friends instead.

issue 2 has a feature on the jap cars at santa pod, and it also have the vauxhall performance feature at santa pod, so that shows footage inside cars and on the strip. there is also 2 bonus features on the dvd, one of which is an insite into american underground street racing, and the other is the streetlifetv ford galaxy (aka the bang bus - RIP as of yesterday) racing the wolfrace transit van as i said above there is only one section of issue 2 which has women in, and thats the fuel booty competition. personally i would love to get some footage of track days and maybe even of one of the dyno sessions that are always in fast ford!

Thanks for the suggestions oranoco, it really does help!

Hmm..some interesting comments...thx for all your feedback...We certainly respect ALL sides of the scene (we have to)..from the youngsters to the older people, friends, crews whatever. I'm 41 and have owned many Fords includign an old-skool MK1 Escort and numerous MK1, 2 and 3 Capri's - So I've been around the block

What I'm trying to do here is to represent all sides of the scene, from private club meetings, performanc features, car features, Urban elements etc etc.

For Issue 2 I have made MAJOR (and I mean MAJOR) changes to the entire production...and one, like liberal says, is to put the 'girls' section in on it's own and let the rest do the talking...no girls in the car features etc...and yeh..fair comment...no dirty old tarts either ...if you only knew what we went thru

Anyway, we were new when we filmed the PF guys down at Southend...sorry it 'pissed' some people off...HMMM...but, like people say, can't please averyone, and like liberal says (and rightly so) you need 'eye candy' or 'moving content' on DVD..static shots can only be run for so long...and if you actually LOOK at the DVD , you'll see that we filmed from the meeting point, in the convoy, arriving down the strip, parking-up and seeing the mass of Fords, then there's observational shots of cars, people shots and soundbites, all mixed with some 'fun' shots...Now to me..that's a night down Southend with Passion Ford? Or have I missed something

We have car features planned with old-skool motors as well as some high performance Ford stuff and we have a couple of Fords already on the short-list. We will always do our upmost to please as many people as we can..

As far as interview comments...sorry, the interview we did didn't 'fit' the footage...so we ran soundbites we had on the night...some from PF (who were very 'shy') and others, who were just Ford enthusiasts, who were a little more 'open'...if you've ever been in an edit suit, you'll understnd that when it comes to cutting this stuff up..some soundbites are no good due to disortion or sound interferance or just the general 'tone' of the piece...so you have to go with what you got.

For the record...the whole reason I started this was to try and be unique in creative styles and direction...we can only improve and are here to listen to 'creative' critisism...one thing we are NOT and NEVER WILL BE is Max Power on DVD...ooooh nooo thx for reading...and thanks to those who are, indeed understanding of our MO..

You have friends

In fairness to the 2 guys from SLTV. At least you want to change it around a bit. But until you start giving us 75% of what I want to watch on a DVD about cars in the UK. You're never going to win. Max Power do the bodykit films better than most. If you try to stay away from that. You'll do better long term.

As a suggestion have a look at www.Neweramedia.com Thats where you need to be going IMHO

Rich, yes I do.

Unlike some, I don't spend all day on here pretending to have friends

75% of what you want? if we where to give everyone who hasnt seen the dvd 75% of they want personally, what would be the point? have you watched issue's 1 & 2? compare the two and see which you prefer, then maybe provide some constructive critisicm. not meaning to offend anyone here, but i have posted on this site to get feedback on the dvd from those who have seen it, and also get some input of what people want. are there any areas you feel a majority of the viewers would enjoy watching or benifit from?

Rich W..?? went to the site http://www.neweramedia.com/ and, erm...well...that's cool...but US based..we are about the UK scene..and that includes EVERYONE, be it the home-grown modder with NO money, or the geezer with the big bucks. Look at it from our side, we have to be neutral and just film the 'passion' that people have...

we have many features planned..but hey...put ALL peformance, then the modders aren't catered for, too much Modd, and the performance guys and girls are at loss..we try to cater for ALL groups..that's what we are trying to push to people...UK SCENE...

we are trying our best, can't ALL be fords, can't all be Japs, Cant ALL be install, Cant' ALL be Modds..etc etc...

Don't know why it is you guys are against something that is trying to promote YOUR scene... we want to do so much more...and that WILL include the performance stuff...just you wait and see... just trying our best here yeh...

Now THEY are good videos Nice balance of car info, nicely shot, awsome music and some brilliant cars.

Not only that it covers most aspects of car tuning from styling to performance to lifestyle stuff.

Not only that I found it had universal appeal too, enough of the bling to keep the chavvies happy, enough bhp to keep the enthusiasts happy, and very little minge (if any apart from the girls at the shows) to keep the girls from tuting, and some fun stuff to stop people that aint mad about cars happy.

If street life was something like that, I'd buy it
