Took the dumpvalve out the other day and boy does the bitch chatter now

Altho the chatter is almost as loud as my dumpvalve at times

But the question is altho it sounds nice, do I need a dumpy? Running 15psi on lo boost and 30psi on hi - i read on here a dumpvavle is needed if running 2bar boost or more

Yup, Cossie chatter can be at least as loud as a DV.

And IMO even at 2bar on a T34 its fine with no DV, i ran like that, so has many others, no problemo.

 

Except im sure you will be shortening the life of the turbo and creating back pressure in the system.

I was told that for my turbo GT28R its best not to run over 1 bar in case it damages the turbo

 

fook the life of the turbo - it had a rebuild last yr then 3 weeks later my engine lets go and it now needs a new oil seal

chatter is all good mine is fooking stupid loud and only running 20 psi

 

At least the Chatter will drown out the sound of your favourite Luther Vandross CD on full blast.
