Got back from holiday yesterday to find the dreaded insurance renewal quote!
This last Yr i have been with Highway (via brentacre) on a TPF+T policy
with my massive 1Yr NCB it cost me £1324
on the insurance renewal form i though i would have a nice surprise and see the insurance (now with 2yrs ncb) go below £1000
Nope.. it was exactly the same price..
Ive just been on the phone to HIc and asked what they could do.. the qote they have given me is for a classic policy (suits me fine as i dont use the car that much and wont have to use my NCB on the policy)

Fully comp = £977
TPF+T = £579
BARGAIN

think i will be taking them up on that, even bigger bonus is that i can now buy a crap run-around and use my ncb on that so the ins will be propper cheap.. and i will have a car for everday use instead of robbing my mums or g/fs

how many miles is a classic policy limited too?

 

5000 miles is normally what they limit them too.. however i only do about 3000
