My First Ever Runs at Santa Pod :)
I have for some reason never actually taken any of my Rs Turbos, or even my Cossie up the Santa Pod strip so on Sunday it was my first ever time of even doing a burnout let alone a 1/4 mile so I had no idea of times or how I would do. But here are a couple of videos and quite happy with them to be honest

I know LOL... oddly I did a faster time with someone in than without... I reckon I could definately get into 13.1 or 2 with no passenger and better changes etc as they werent perfect.
The convertibles are slower and the coupe only does a 13.3 standard so not far off
would have nice to see the 60ft times !!

That's a pretty good time mate.
A genuine CSL airbox is a pretty wild amount of cash too though... however they look and sound absolutely fantastic.
Being honest, I've yet to hear an aftermarket exhaust that deepens up the E46 exhaust and removes the rattley/metallic rasp they make.. it lets the car down a wee bit, but nowhere near enough to put me off the cars as a whole. Fantastic value for money these days.
Cheers,
Grant
Only standard Jim...I have heard a couple of supersprint ones and to be honest they are VERY loud!!..I quite like being able to drive quietly when I want to

The airbox is like £3000!!! I might aswell save and get a supercharger put on it...
I agree about the exhaust although it does grow on you after some time

Zee Germans are coming
the standard exhaust is actually a very very good item and 99% of bmw tuners say they dont need changing
you need to have a chat with the guys from evolve in luton mate
they turn out some of the biggest powered m3's

Regarding the m3 rasp.. There's a couple of different exhaust bits that you can get that remove the rasp. It's just a front section to replace, seem pricey for what they are though.
I looked into eliminating the rasp as I wanted one but didn't like the rasp. The only trouble is they sound like a 330 with the rasp gone, it then makes you start to appreciate the sound.
I really fancy an m3, you see them cheap & think they're a must. Then when you look into it you need to find one with subframe sorted, running in service, big ends done(early ones). I fancied an SMG but again another tricky area. I read BMW are going to start refusing good will on the rear subframe with them being over 10years old now.
