Congratulations on your win today...and that's from a Liverpool fan.

On the day the best team won but I've got no complaints with how our boys performed.

We were never going to outplay Chelsea and we came with a set game plan, we got the early goal, but it was too much to ask to defend for 90 minutes. We had a fair number of chances on the break and if we'd have got the penalty then who knows, gutted for Gerrard and the boys!

PLEASE win the Premiership!!!

I think you've got a good chance of getting past Barca' if you can keep a clean sheet on the night.

it was a rubbish final IMO . i'm a liverpool fan and i was so gutted with how we played. earlier in the season we outplayed chelsea and were unlucky to be beaten, so i thought today would be the same story but no we scored early and sat back on that lead. we were never gonna win the game doing that. im so disappointed Rafa didn't change the system we were playing, for long periods we sat with 10 players behind the ball and just booted it out when it came near. Chelsea tried and got the lucky break they deserved. I hate Mourinho by the way and wish he would just show a bit more respect to the whole english game. I'm afraid chelsea have bought their success 100% . you could say man united did the same but they earnt their money through football and have every right to spend it on their team. Chelsea's money has come from a rich russian with too much time on his hands. Chelsea will not progress in the Champions league and i cannot see them becoming the dominant force everyone thinks they will.

Stevie didn't seem at the races today, maybe because he knew it was his one chance to lift a trophy as captain of Liverpool FC.

I'm really hoping he doesn't go in the Summer but we're as far away from winning the league title as we've ever been and I wouldn't begrudge him a move away from Anfield.

Everybody 3 months ago were slating Utd and saying that Arsenal were the greatest team in the prem...EVER!!!

I bet you wouldn't be saying all that if 'the russian' had bought liverpool. At the end of the day all the hard time that chelsea have been given recently is down to just plain jealousy. when ever we lose a game (which isn't that often )the pres is the first to jump on us with stuff like 'mourinho cant handle it' or 'they've lost one, they're season must be falling apart'. Does it matter how the players were bought that fact is that the players we now have make up (possibly) the best team in europe.
As for you playing 10 players behind the ball for the whole game, possibly this is why you lost and chelsea won becaus they were prepared to attack a try to score goals. Its amazing how many teams (especially in premiership games) when they play us just play for a draw because they know they cant win I thought the idea of sport is that the participants want to WIN.

Oh well, rant over, i'm of to work now
