gap between flywheel and cps s2 rsturbo

Default gap between flywheel and cps s2 rsturbo
does anyone know what should be the gap between the flywheel and crank position sensor? recently i changed mfi to efi in my s2 rs turbo and i don't have a spark. i have cps but not in this plastic case to hold it.
does it make any difference is cps is 2mm or 3mm from flywheel?

3mm is a lot, they should be around 1mm
