Default What is this guy on on Swapz?

I didn't realise the colour of a car affected how fast it is

http://www.swapz.co.uk/swapz/2640174...ru_gti_ibiza_/

It's near the bottom where he says, "This is the ovni yellow version which is the fastest out of all the cupra's"

It's to do with the way U.V light reflects off the colour.
Yellow being the closest colour to the Sun the |U.v bounces off more easily and gives a kick as it leaves, hence giving the car a push forward.
Black however doen't allow the U.V to bounce off very well , in fact it drags as it bounces, slowing the car down slightly.

And don't believe the myth that there's no U.V light at night, which would effectively slow the yellow car down, the man that sold me £30k worth of solar panels assured me they would be at full output all night long.

Appologies if all that sounds bollocks, but I've been eating a lot of brown cake this evening.

Yes it's true, yellow cars are the fastest.

Now,i'm no expert so don't quote me on this but i think if you fold your rear seat down in a hatchback it makes the car faster too.Something to do with airflow i heard.

Not sure how true it is though as like i said i'm no expert.

Surely if that's the case a white one would be fastest of all...?

I think folding down rear seats is for weight saving.

Pretty sure a 'spec one' sticker and show cage are the best mods mate. Everyone will know you have a fast car then.

Yeah it like painting calipers red that gives 20 bhp, but if you car already comes with painted calipers it doesn't add anything. Also as said fold your seats down, helps the air just go straight through.

Everyone knows Mercury Grey S2 RST are the fastest of all RST so I don't see why it can't be the same with faded yellow.
