Default Carbon wrapping or wrapping bodypannels?

im getting some carbon pannels for my A4 but will need to either wrap or use genuine carbon and resin on the bumpers and roof spoiler, id prefer propper carbon sheeting with resin, any links or advice on doing this?

hmmmm, maby a bit of practice is needed?

or any specific products people are/have used?

dont just want "wraped" pannels as the wings, skirts and lower 1/4`s are genuine

you could always contact audi sport and hand over the national debt for originals lol

make sure the panel are coated black in 2k
then wet the panel with laminating epoxy
drape the carbon weave over the panel
gently bristle the weave with a wet epoxy brush to bond to the panel
leave to dry
the weave will exspand a little whilst drying
once dry coat the panel until the resin fully covers the weave
wet sand the panel starting with a 320 moving through the gradiants until 1500 BUT be very careful not to run through the weave just the resin as you always coat more resin not put carbon back
once 1500 grit has been used then use a g3 followed by a g10 to buff or from the flat finish laquer with 2k

hth mate

ooooooooooooooooooh, i see, thats simple instructions then..........

hardest thing is not to catch the weave while flatting it off i take it.

any particular brands you`d advise?

Cheers Jay (Flaps )

you can get 195 or 200 gsm off ebay for about £20 a meter and epoxy resin to or theres a company called easy composit that do small quantaties to but i use scott barder for large amounts if i need it

for a A4 super tourer wings they are 2.5k but they are proper aero prepreg not the usual market stuff carbon most use as most bonnets cost between 5 and 700 pounds but a proper built item will be around 2.5 -3k
