Had loads of s2's and they were really good cars,never broke down in any of mine (although that was back in the late 90's) and I never paid more than £1500 for one.
I built a really nice one up once out of a minty mint hard rear ended White one and a lovely fire damaged black low miler,never quite finished it but it had a mint motor,about 200bhp which in 1998 wasnt bad,fully built etc,recaros were like new,files of paperwork,would have made a cracker.
Non-recorded too,I got it running,driving and ready for paint but got offered a good deal on a Cossie so it was sold.
The boy had it all sorted about a week later and kept the car for years,nice little motor.
Series ones really are the daddy though,cried when I sold mine,huge mistake but life goes on.
Even a rough ones £3000 these days,saying that I effectively swapped it for a saph cos and I gave the boy £700,2wd,moonstone,chipped,full leather and just resprayed.
Very nice,I suppose that would be a £6-6500 car now.

I've found that life I needed.. It's HERE!!
aside from tall storys, i love this car. 210hp is plenty for fwd. not quite enough to beat a renault though, er i mean lamboghini..

i love the way the rst makes its power. with a bit more boost the power is instantaneous. also the torque steer makes relativley little power feel exciting. and theres the sound.

made 251bhp because my exhaust is blowing in 2 places and exhaust manifold gasket blowing AND its overfuelling .. got both graphs any way will be on display at central day one graph is 328bhp when it ran perfect. then it made 327bhp 2 week later at another place and recently made 251 BUT its STILL rapid and i STILL will be running it up the strip

exhaust been blowing for time now so should be fine. would fix it but i have a fully forged engine complete with new turbo and exhaust. . im not going to argue why it made 251bhp from 328bhp because its clear my exhaust is blowing and my exhaust manifold leaks air aswell.. the results are the results i cant argue with it ..im gutted but i know wat i need to do to sort it out will do when i take the engine etc out and fit my new fully forged 450bhp capable engine in it. its why im attempting the strip now as later i could see the difference on the times and see if its improved etc
