Looking at retrimming the headlining on my car, has anyone else done this and what did you use/where did you get it from/prices etc?
I want it to look as close to original as possible
Thanks, Karl

Also, are you removing all the original material and backing before applying glue, applying a base coat of spray glue to provide the adhesive something to grip against and are you leaving the adhesive the recommended time before putting the material onto the board?
Here is some of how I did mine...

I also did my A, B and C-pillar trims as well so that everything above the doorcards matched, similar to newer Fords.

What glue are you using? You need hi-temp glue that goes to @ least 120 degrees or the heat in the sun will cause it to sag again.

I got the material from East Kent Trim Supplies. Is as close as I can find to the original and comes with the foam on the back already. The only difference between that and the original stuff is the fact that the original is 20 years old and has dirt ingrained into it which will never come out. Hence, you have to do the C-pillar trims at the same time. Once you take the material off the pillar trims though, they are the same as non-Ghia/RS models so easily available if you wanted to pre-trim some.
My best recommendation is to take your time on the prep stage. Get this wrong and it will all be for nothing. Also, when applying the adhesive, there is no such thing really as too much time taken. Rush it and it will be rubbish within a month.
If you can get hold of a smallpaint roller-type thing, even better. If you use your hands to push the material out, it will show the imprints from your finger. I normally use an old bank card and spread the material on using light pressure.
