I've been thinking about an engine conversion for a couple months now & I know that it'll be n/a.
Question is, what's the best engine/setup to have in A mk3 escort?
Also, what will I need to do the conversion (i.e, loom,engine, box) but what else?

Nah just something a bit more modern than the good old cvh.
Budget will be around the 1k mark, less would be better but I'm not going to moan about going slightly over.
