Default need help working out offset

I have a fiesta xr2 which i will be racing this year, but i dont like the big spacer set up and i am thinking of getting new wheels .
The wheels at the mo are 15" with a 37 offset , but are using 22mm spacers , would i be right in thinking i take the dimensioin of the spacers off the offset to get the true offset size ???
so thinking about a 15 offset ???
any help apreciated
