what a pile of shit. had an oil leak so on inspecting the underside, saw the sump looked a bit corroded and replaced. theres no gasket just instant bond/gasket. after changing the sump and oil filter the oil pissed out. thought the sump was maybe not sealed sufficently so yet again removed exhaust/crossmember and some piddly brackets, cleaned mating surface and refitted with a bead of bond/gasket. its still pouring out when the oil pressure builds (on startup/in motion ect. no oil leaks when engine isnt running aside from residue. any ideas as to what it could be?? im ready to torch it. have even removed/refitted oil filter to ensure the o ring is fitted.

 

If i remember right.......

check the rocker cover where its screwed down, The lugs snap off and oil seeps past the seal.

Also I believe oil pump housings can cause an issue but dont quote me to it.
