Default Urgent, Help please!?

Please help, I pulled up the other night to find steam coming out from under the bonnet of my '98 Escort with a 2.0 Mondeo Zetec engine. As it was dark and I couldnt see where the steam was coming from, I left it over night and came back to it the next day. I turned it over and found that there was coolant coming from behind the cam coverby the bottom pulley.
I ordered a new water pump thiniking that it was leaking from there somewhere and I was better off changing the pump over at the same time as putting a new gasket on. I have fitted the new pump and gasket, followed the manual to a T, yet I still have the exact same problem?!?! It is not leaking from the radiator hose as this is bone dry considering the pulleys and belts are throwing coolant everywhere :S

Any help MUCH appreciated as I have some time off next week and was hoping to go home and see my family.

no, the only hole that I can see its the one that the water pump mounts into.
Could the headgasket have failed and be letting out water at the end of the block?
