i have noticed rs' type fords are getting pinched as much as they were in the 80's/90's. except this time round its for the benefit of bent breakers/owners rather than joy riders. probably the same scum who used to joy ride in their teens, now gone on to stealing for profit. i wouldnyt be suprised if these are stolen to order and going oversea's. i think the authorities need to keep an eye of the ports/exports ect. the uk is far too small for all the rs's that have been nicked NOT to be recocnised. even parts get spotted at shows. if they are been kept in the uk its worth having datatag type security on the bits likely to appeal to a breaker/spares specialist. if garaged, maybe worth buying an old shitter to park in front, betwen the garage and the daily. and use every security product thats feasible. hope you get some good news mate, this is getting all too regular.

I believe it was stolen from the TEG Sport Base, but can't say for sure. The more people/forums that know, the better!

whats the story behind the fake barn find? is there a thread or could someone giv us a link? hope matie boy gets it back. tracking equipment could be a good idea. a mate had x2 saff cossies, both nicked seperately. theives didnt bother with the £50k motorcycle haul nor the 33gtr. old fords have always been lucrative unfortunatly.

i think you will find there are some pikeys well known that deal in RS parts in the kent area as i found out when my car was stolen, hence i no longer own an RS.

Hope the car is found as surely quite unique being a left hooker in the U.K

the more people who take the law in there own hands, protest at tony martin type cases and bring the country to a standstill (french style) then the laws HAVE to get tougher. ok, bringing the country to a stop is far fetched but maybe every person who has been let down by the law could blockade the routes to/from evrery magistrates or better still crown court in the country. brits been brits, the majority wouldnt be bothered. the french seem to get things done though. 3drzetec is absolutly right though.
