I think you'd have to be a right fucking cunt to stand and say that someone looks stupid to their face while asking their advice.
Especially when he's not a small lad.

It wasn't intended in that way I just think its pretty rude given they were seeking advice and the fact that Oli is very knowledgeable with RS turbo's i don't doubt him at all. It's a lot harder than people think to get a genuine 300+ hp cvh

300 is piss easy on a 1600 cvh . 350hp not so

I didn't intend to make this a debate about NMS or anything, think its got a bit out of content..
When I talk to oli on the phone and sometimes Karl, they both tell me exactly what's happening and are very specific and knowledgable about their work..I've spoken to oil again today and we have agreed on a 4x4 T3 for the time being until I raise some funds for a new spec turbo..
Like I say I would hate for people to say doubt peoples work but that's the way it works I suppose.
Thanks, Joe

i never said there is loads of them about! sure there are a lot of muppets that claim big power but so what . i had a hand in building one and it is over 300hp and pulls terminals of 115mph to back it up! so like i said its not all that hard to do.

Agree with rick and gary here, the main reason there isnt loads more 300+ bhp rs turbos is because most people dont want to spend the money it costs to get a cvh engine built to this level, but if your skilled enough to do it yourself like rick and gary have i imagine the cost isnt really that much.

My NMS spec engine uses a T34.55 hybrid and certainly don't lack in punch!
Karl chose this as is made for a good overall choice, Not too laggy but don't run out of steam either, A happy medium for what I needed, This was 5+ years ago though so there thinking may be different now.....
Cheers Paul

A GT2560R (as fitted to S15 200SX) Might just be able to flow for 300bhp on a very well mapped high comp CVH and will be much more responsive than a T34 or GT28.... But the CVH has a terrible BSFC so it will be close.
They can be built into a T3 housing so will be a direct fit too, this is what I would of used if I wanted more from my old CVH build.
