Hi all well i was driving home from work last night on the bypass so was going 70-80mph when the engine started spluttering the car slowed down and the engine management i managed to get home tho every time i put the clutch down the engine cut out. when i got it home it cut out i tried to start it and it wouldn't start so this morning i went out to see if it would start and it did not sounding to good when ticking over and still spluttering. now i don't really want to drive it to a garage in case the engine cuts out or something, has anyone got any ideas what could be up with my car? any help would be appreciated.

You need to get the fault codes read mate.

 

i will have to see if i can get my hands on one as i dont really wanna drive it
