3dr spoiler paint. Help please.
Right im fuming to start off
Gutted even more that Performance Ford is on this weekend and I was cutting it tight as it was to get it ready. Im now ready for throwing the towel in.
Just got my spoiler for my black 3dr back from paint, new spoiler, RS500 wing tip moulded then painted. got it in the garage plonked it on the car looked good, then noticed all 3 supports are light on paint and the primer is noticeable. i gave the spoiler a polish because it was really dusty from it being sat in the paint shop and found a run on the near side about an inch long on top. to put the icing on the cake he has lacquered the satin black and its no different to the rest of the spoiler. correct me if im wrong but you dont lacquer satin as satin is the finish?
It looks pish and im ready for kicking off. I even supplied the paint and there was enough to do the whole bloody car!
Can I get some reassurance that the satin isnt ment to be lacquered, my last one wasnt and it was mint and it cost me a tenner to do myself lol! now this boy took £140 to do the spoiler with my paint so im really after a good job.
Thoughts please before I fire into the boy with my own thoughts!
