That's very good power for the .48 (as already said a few times in this thread)

What compression is the engine?

Good figures, sounds like a similar spec to my mates SCS engine which has been bombproof for years.

I wounder how a AB07 would perform in this engine ?

Bit more lift than a BD10 but a bit less duration.

Bd10 has 1 degree less duration than a bd16 I was always told to favour duration over lift.
X-flow hot rod a8 cams still being used today have relative small lift but massive duration.

No it wouldn't, with a ported head, big pair of cams and 26/7 psi held it will make over 400bhp on the dyno, infact 412 bhp Duncan claires engine made

Wish I could have had mine on their dyno with their mapping because on a rolling road you don't get a true figure really, but they did a top job on mine in-car. Rolling road showed over 390bhp on .63

the only real downside @ SCS is their website that says nothing

but then again they put efforts in engines, not marketing and it seems to work out a treat, so fair play

With all the reviews on road cars over 400bhp, I'm so happy not to go that far with mine Plus anything over I'd be too paranoid to use on the road as a daily basis in the event it inevitably brakes

I always thought a t34 0.63 running 32psi @ 400bhp is beyond it's compressor map - it will do it but not for long so I fail to see how a 0.48 can do it reliably

My t34.48 made 388hp with 376 lb ft on the scs dyno with 2bar peak and gets a hard time-that's been perfect for 3yrs......touch wood!

In which case every figure that comes off this dyno is bollocks jay. Including the super 1600 ford puma engines for ford themselves and the ford racing puma engine again for ford themselves. And maybe you should tell mountune and Aston martin that they're dyno figs are bullshit too as all three dynos are identical.

Like yourself, theyre my last words, anyone can read this post and see for themselves who's speaking the utter shite

Mr Rainbird, you made a hint this compression was in the 8's but someone has said its the usual 7.8-1, plus you dissed the BD10 saying it was the worst camshaft made, now your hero has produced this dream figure i suppose you now want the BD10 as a butt plug along with Harveys other secret butt plugs?

I find it amazing that a well known figure in cosworth tuning can produce such silly power figures and not get mocked, whereas if you are a not so well known tuner they will get the PassionFord ride from HELL!!!!

...people say this place aint "clicky"....YEAH RIGHT

at the end of the day if it made 300 bhp or 600 bhp its all down to what the customer wants it to do on the road

bhp claims is better off left for friday nights down the local pub imo
