I reckon it's been re-shelled probably when it was a few years old, hence why the shell is in such good condition. it's probably a 92 or 93 year shell or something.

weld the number back in and away you go, have you hpi'd the vin/reg?

Never thought to, 20+ yr old ford, kinda thought well if its gone through past mot's then cant be all bad.
You expect a bit of a past from old fords, nature of the brand due to popularity. Has had a full 40 minute vehicle check courtesey of Essex police, came back clean as a whisper and straight up as a sport..Had that not long after buying her due to no seatbelt on

May do one for the crack..just waiting for my DVLA history to come through, never know might show something....
