Default A big appology to RsGus

I am 99% sure this post will eventually turn to sh*t

Gus,

I wish to publically appologise for the grief I have caused you.

You should take pleasure in knowing you have cost me far much more
than you could possibly know.

I have NOT sent your L8 ecu back today as I did not fancy a 2 mile
walk in the snow to the post office as I dont have my car on the road at
the moment due to my turbo failing.

I promise it will go in the post tomorrow as my wife is doing it for me
as she has a working car !
As soon as it has gone, I will text the tracking number to you.

This is the honest truth, how you choose to react is up to you.

Simon

Also big thanks to Stu for your advice today and Mike R for
helping me out.

Right.. why am i cleaning up this topic? Well,
Theres a couple of reasons if im honest.

1) Simon in my opinion has had enough aggro now for his mistakes that we "Already know about". Going on and on about Gus is doing nothing for anyone is it? Yes Simons failed him and been pretty damn poor about the whole thing, and No, gus is in no way to blame for teh matter, but reading about it on here all day and every day is doing who any good? Gus? Simon? Nope. Nobody. its time to move on. In my opinion, the scene will be a better place WITH Simons products than it would be without them.. this brings me to point 2.

2) Mike Rainbird is making a very serious effort to help Simon to fix his shortcomings and get a few baseboards in place. This should be commended, and if Mike gets let down too, well, lets deal with that bridge if we come to it. I dont think we will come to it, call me an optimist, call me a coont, i care very little...
More Info? https://passionford.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=1509633

3) PassionFord of late has begun a hunting ground for some people and my inbox is starting to fill with more and more complaints about negative vibes.. to this end ive come up with what i hope will be a solution of sorts, maybe a means to an end. I am of course talking about our new forum room.
More info? https://passionford.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=104806

Coupled with our new moderators and new policies, this should all add up to make PF a happier place to be, but without affecting your freedom of speech too much.....

not trying to sound lik an ass kisser, but simon started this thread appologising to gus.

now if hes appoligising to gus, maybe he will also appologise to the othe peeps still waiting for his products...?

no one has complained about the products themselves (only a few cases of malfunctioning equipment) but EVERYONE has something to say about the way simon runs (or tries to run) his business.

as far as i understand SECS is NOT simons only job, he works a 9-5 job as the rest of us and SECS is an additional business.

also, he depends on OTHER PEOPLE to produce the PCB's, and ECU cases, in his defense as he is not a full time company, maybe the other people involved are lacking in providing simon with as many orders as he has recived.

as from what i have seen o this board, lots of people want the products, but maybe he can not get them produced as quickly as people want them?

but peeps that have been waiting several months should not have been imo

Stu
Why didn't you just move it all to the 'spit your dummy out room' after all i thought that was what it was for
If you are not going to move threads that turn into arguments etc...into there and no-one can post new threads themselves in there then whats the point of it???
After all Simon had some posts in the stuff you took out and its his thread
Gus who the appology was aimed at has seen it now so the thread being moved would have been no loss would it!

well done stu, i think simon has had enough grief of everyone.

if it were me, not only would i be out of a part the car market i.e fords etc its not good for business having critisim by people that heve nothing to do with his products i.e bandwagon jumpers.

SECS has a lot of very good products and hopefully we will see more of them in the ford community.

give the guy a chance peeps, i know, hes made mistakes etc, but how many of you have started your own buisnesses whilst still having a full time job?

i would love to start my own, but got no chance in todays way of thinking

Simple Spadge,
Things are changing round here. This bollox is all "Offtopic" and im keeping it on topic. If you need to slate a company, be a man and make a new thread and it will be moved to the new dummy spitting room. This way theres no bandwagon jumping anyomre, if you wanna slate someone your going to have to make a new topic.

As it is, this topic is an appology to someone and is remaining that way no matter how much crap the mods have to delete. Any members of teh webteam who dont like it can also take a walk as far as im concerned.. its time to tidy PF up somewhat and thats what il do, with or without any help.
