Yeah if someone phones up saying its for a cossie, then you would certainly expect the question to be asked if they are on aftermarket cause if not they dont want high impedance injectors etc.

So really to save hassle and piece of mind when ordering injectors you better off/ safer asking for them by part number than name...!

Yes if you want a specific injector, ask for it, not give a vague description.

So how many people reading this thread that have these injectors fitted actually asked for them over the phone and specified the part number. Or just asked for 83lbs Siemens injectors .

cheers Stu - im hoping my injectors are the real deal as they were bought off someone on here, but then again im having my car live mapped and the injector resistance has been measured and appropriate resistors have been added to my loom so im hoping mine will be alright.

I had to scour about to sort these, so he may not be able to get ANY injector as they are now out of production. Bloody typical as I needed a set. Was going to wait until later in the year, but there you go!

If he can get them, I am sure lots of retailers would be interested in speaking to him!

I just took a chance and ordered them from fiveomotorsport in the US, will see what I get delivered but they are the right part numbers, but now they're no longer on the site ...
Anyway the closest thing are these that I have found, I'd be interested to know the difference.

Right fellas,

I have these in my hand, and will be bringing these back with me from the states when I return in two weeks.

Save yourself all the aggro of wondering if and when you will get them, and with customs charges, taxes and shipping costs!!

250 quid a set, posted to your door recorded delivery,so the same price as MSD. First come first served basis

Thanks

Weeksy

I may be wrong but that's not the same price as MSD, wasn't MSD's price inc VAT??

Haha, very good Martin!

The delivered cost to you would be the same.

Shipping these insured from VA to FL for a grand cost me 115 bucks!

I wouldnt even try and get them sent home with the HMRC bloodhounds on the look out for an income supplement...

What's the difference between the high and low impedence 83's?

Is it the proper ones you have weeksy not the ones with the problems people are talking about on here? I need a set!

55lb FI11402 (old P/N 3102)
72lb FI1145 (old P/N 3145)

are these of any interest or is it just the 83lb's that are in short supply
