Where can I get these from I'd prefer new if not a mint second hand set... Anybody have any they want to part with..?

i think the Mk2 ones fit Mat as i have a mk2 xr4i hatchback and Ade500 wants these for his 3dr

Parts are the same for both cars , rrp on parts is £53.87 each . Parts are still available from ford , part numbers your looking for are 6188854 and 6188855 .

Th number are just the rear left and right tho mate... And been told there the numbers for mk2

Those are the number for the rear arch liners, front arch liners are 6191504 r/h and 6191505 l/h for 88 onwards are 1644678 r/h and 1644679 l/h for upto 88 models

I actually enquired to Ford about this a while ago (as my offside rear one is missing) and they went away, came back and said they could get the part and it would be like £100!

Being a Saph, I did say to them it would be the same as a lesser model or MK2 hatch. The estates are different and the MK1's are also different I think.

I have 1991 Mk2 liners front and rear in my Mk1 XR4i.

Mounting holes needed drilled but they do go in OK.
